Here are some of my favorite Zen and Buddhism resources. I’ll keep adding to this list over time as I find new things so come back and check it out from time to time:

  • San Francisco Zen Center website: This website has a huge amount of information on it ranging from videos of past Dharma talks, to downloadable PDFs of chants, to upcoming events and study opportunities.

  • I listen to the Zen Studies Podcast pretty much every day. It is produced by Domyo Burk, a Soto Zen priest who is the founder and teacher of a Zen community near Portland, Oregon called Bright Way Zen. Domyo Burk has produced hundreds of hours of high quality podcasts covering pretty much every conceivable aspect of Zen.

  • The Bob Thurman Podcast is another favorite of mine. Bob Thurman comes from a Tibetan Buddhist tradition rather than a Zen background so this is a little different but he is super charismatic and interesting and incredibly knowledgeable about Buddhism and so is really easy to listen to, even when he distracts himself and goes off on tangents!
